Rushmoor Borough Council provides services for quartering areas in Aldershot and Farnborough. Domestic Refuse Collection
Residents in Rushmoor are provided with two refuse bins. The normal household refuse bin is collected every week and the recycling bin is collected every two weeks.

The BLUE bin is for items that can be recycled: rinsed cans and tins – rinsed plastic bottles – cardboard – newspapers, magazines and Yellow Pages – household paper – aerosols.
The GREEN bin is for household waste including: All other types of metal – bottle tops and lids – plastic food wrapping – cellophane and carrier bags – yoghurt and food pots – margarine and butter tubs – fruit punnets and polystyrene packing from white goods – juice cartons – wrapping paper – egg boxes.

Glass Collection
Use your blue storage box (or purple bin / basket) for all types of glass bottles and jars. Lids should go in your rubbish bin. Your box will be emptied every fortnight.

Garden Waste Collection

Hart District Council offers a glass collection service. Glass crates for storing the glass can be purchased from the council.

Garden Waste Collection
Hart District Council operates a garden waste collection scheme. The council will supply residents with a tough, re-usable sack and empty it once a fortnight.
